The successful candidate will be the fourth graduate to join our graduate mentoring programme, an important and integral process for the development of our business and succession plan, which commenced in 2012.
The successful candidate will work as PA to the Managing Director and will experience and learn the administrative and support background of the financial planning world while taking relevant financial planning technical examinations over a period of 18 months.
On successful completion of the initial technical examinations, which qualify the candidate to provide financial planning advice and register with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), there is a transition to an advisory role as well as continued technical examinations leading to Chartered Financial Adviser status within four years.
Are you the right person?
The successful candidate will demonstrate the necessary intelligence, drive and determination that is needed to complete the required technical competence over the training period. Persistence and patience is a pre requisite as well as excellent communication skills both verbal and in the written word.
Honesty, integrity and empathy when dealing with others are vital skills as well as a desire to see things through to completion. Candidates that can demonstrate their initiative and the ability to work alone or as part of a team will be favoured.
Naturally an interest in the financial world will be demonstrated by the successful candidate.
Ultimately the objective of our graduate mentoring process is to find and develop the future Directors and Shareholders of the company.
