Job Description


Specific duties:

  • Develop and manage relationships and procurement frameworks with suppliers such as stationary companies and venues
  • Play a role in accurately monitoring systems and processes and look for opportunities to make improvements to increase efficiency
  • Session organisation
  • Engagement with and coordination of a wide range of companies, projects and organisations from the private, public and third sector
  • Contribute to accurate CRM entry of our four partners project data
  • Highly accurate Outset CRM data entry
  • Financial data recording
  • Procuring and preparing materials for sessions/meetings
  • Coordinating the delivery schedules
  • Collection and recording of evidence
  • Liaising with clients for event commitment
  • Coordinating appointments for annual reviews
  • Deliver excellent client service at all times to clients, subcontractors, partners and funders, building and maintaining strong working relationships with a range of key stakeholders
  • Supporting the programme director in establishing programme to be a Flagship project
  • Arranging of and taking notes at meetings
  • First point of contact for all telephone and email enquires
  • Office supplies coordination

  • Act as fire marshal and or first aider
  • Coordination of petty cash allocation
  • Acting as scribe at sessions (if required)
  • Line management of junior administrator post

Person Specification:



  • Relevant commercial, academic or vocational experience
  • Exposure to working within complex partnership settings
  • Strong team working skills
  • Experience of using Excel, Word and PowerPoint


  • Previous experience in project environment
  • Experience of working with other stakeholders in a project
  • Experience of working with business support agencies, public and private sector organisations

Other Application Details

This role is dedicated to Outset Cornwall and is therefore fully funded by European Regional Development Fund.  An application has been made to secure funds until November 2021.  The outcome of the application will be known between April and July 2018.  If a new contract is awarded, this role may be extended until 30th November 2021.
