Company Description

Sea Sanctuary is an innovative marine-based, mental health charity and the only charity of its kind. We support some of the most vulnerable people in society and were established to provide a different approach and treatment facility. We believe that all people accessing the service have the potential to actualize their abilities given the right therapeutic environment; using the setting of the sea we seek to promote, develop and maintain positive mental health and wellbeing.

Following a £1.72m grant from HM Treasury, Sea Sanctuary has been tasked to set-up and manage a 55m floating wellbeing centre, The ARC. This facility will fill a substantial gap in the services available to people in Cornwall and offer specialised help to young people, veterans and emergency services staff.  The ARC will provide an inspiring and homely environment which has been designed with comfort and wellbeing in mind. The floating facility will provide the ideal environment in which people will actualise, reintegrate and change (ARC).
