The farm is utilised for livestock and crop research and the building of the Future Farm Dairy Systems Platform is a nationally important development for dairy Agri-tech research and development.
Agri-tech Cornwall is a £10m project part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund to increase Research, Development & Innovation (RD&I) in the agri-tech sector in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. It is a partnership of the region’s leading stakeholders in agri-tech RD&I: Duchy College, Rothamsted Research, the Universities of Exeter and Plymouth, and the Cornwall Development Company. The partners and other knowledge providers are working proactively with companies to solve sector growth challenges through RD&I, leading to new and improved products and processes which in turn will drive growth and productivity.
