Cool Earth has an opportunity for coordinator with experience of working on development or conservation.

Job Description

Cool Earth is becoming more ambitious in its search for the best methods for supporting local communities to protect their forest globally.

We are aiming to expand the number of rainforest partnerships we have around the world and central to this expansion will be the development of more relationships with local NGOs that work with local people to protect rainforest. To do this we require an experienced project coordinator to manage the scaling up of our rainforest partnerships globally.

This is a key role within our growing organisation, you will report directly to the Senior Programme Manager and will play an instrumental role in scaling up our impact across the globe and our learning of what works best under different contexts to protect rainforest by supporting local people.

This role requires a methodical, organised mind. You will be coordinating the application process and then the on-going relationship with each of our NGO partners. You will be providing the opportunity to build a large portfolio of learning data as we scale up the network over the next few years.

You will have experience of working on development or conservation partnerships, building systems and processes as well as building good relationships with international partners (local NGOs).

This is a permanent role based at Cool Earth Headquarters in Penryn, Cornwall
