This role will be responsible for supporting the Truro Office and London Office remotely when required. This role will require a person who is an efficient multi tasker, uses their initiative prepared to say no and is a real team player.
Develop and implement new administrative systems, such as record management
Being responsible for enforcing the company's health and safety policy
Support in arranging training for staff
Record office expenditure and manage the budget
Manage online and paper filing systems
Liaise with staff, suppliers and clients
Arranging travel, meetings and appointments
Organize the office layout and maintain supplies of stationery and equipment
Ordering stationery and equipment (depending on how often staff nick it, this could be a regular thing)
Maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs
Arrange regular testing for electrical equipment and safety devices
Maintain office cleanliness ensuring shared spaces are kept clean and tidy
Ensure office supplies are kept stocked
Maintain the meeting rooms and be responsible for meeting room bookings offering refreshments if required.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required
Use a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases, to ensure the efficient running of the office
Experience in an administrative role
Good interpersonal and time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
