Job Description

Working as part of a small friendly office you will be an essential member of the Woof Wear team, developing and growing the Woof Wear marketing and social media platforms as well as providing sales support within the office.

The role will be based in our offices in Bodmin and there will be the opportunity for some travel to promote the company and its products at shows and events, and to work with our key clients. 

Main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assisting with daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth running of the company
  • Processing customer orders and enquires
  • Updating website content and monitoring performance
  • Creating content for social media and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Supporting execution of agreed social channel strategies
  • Copywriting and creative contribution
  • Market research and competitor analysis
  • Supporting sales and business development initiatives
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of marketing activities.

The successful candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Educated to degree level or relevant equivalent, ideally in marketing or business.
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic about product & commercial marketing
  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Excellent skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Knowledge and experience of aspects of horse riding / ownership / care / equine sport

Desirable experience in:

  • Creating content for websites, email campaigns and social media.
  • An understanding of SEO and analytics packages
  • Working with sales order processing systems.
