Are you the next member of the Love Kate's team? We need a highly organised and creative person with experience in digital marketing to join our growing online cards and gifts business.

Job Description

Ideally, you will have some previous experience delivering digital marketing for an ecommerce business.

The key responsibility for this role is to deliver our brand strategy across our digital marketing and social media platforms to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition and retention and ultimately drive website sales.  You will also be responsible for increasing organic traffic through SEO and where necessary be willing to undertake additional learning in this area.  The post will suit someone with creative marketing flair, excellent attention to detail, an analytical and organised approach, and the ability to multitask at times of high demand. From time-to-time, as is the nature of ecommerce and seasonal business, you will join the team in the warehouse to help ensure successful customer order processing.

Key responsibilities:

  • Understand and deliver our brand strategy across the marketing channels
  • Create a digital marketing plan for key everyday and seasonal greetings occasions
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of the digital marketing plan
  • Create and coordinate marketing campaigns
  • Create and schedule content for social media channels
  • Manage the day-to-day social media accounts
  • Carry out direct email marketing using mailchimp
  • Create and update content to the blog
  • Update shop front banners, featured categories and promotions
  • Create and monitor digital advertising campaigns across social media channels

Other responsibilities of the role:

  • Contribute to monthly performance reports
  • Help develop customer acquisition, journey, and retention strategies
  • Increase organic traffic through on site and blog SEO
  • Provide SEO guidance to the team for product and page content and creation
  • Develop informed marketing strategies based on analysis and evaluation of data

We’re looking for someone with these things:

  • Degree level qualification, preferably in marketing or business.
  • Solid grounding of knowledge of marketing concepts
  • Excellent understanding and experience of social media campaign delivery, monitoring and reporting
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Fluent in all Office based programmes particularly Excel
  • Creative flair
  • Team player

And these skills/experience would also be beneficial:

  • Understanding of HTML and web development
  • Good understanding of importance of SEO in content creation online
  • Experience of using google analytics
  • Experience using Hootsuite or similar software
