About You

You are a dynamic character who wants to gain a wide spectrum of marketing and ecommerce knowledge. With a background in marketing you’ll be experienced in various marketing activities, creating engaging content and campaigns that make people fall (and stay) in love with Frugi! You’ll be brimming with ideas to continue to improve our communication to customers and ensure the brand has a constant stream of brilliant social content. You’ll be computer literate and super organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Your Role in a Nutshell

This role is about looking at all the different ways we interact with our community (online & offline), ensuring we are creating engaging content and marketing campaigns that make people fall (and stay) in love with Frugi! You’ll be helping to ensure the Brand is always well represented and is consistent across all platforms. You’ll be helping to ensure the brand has a constant stream of brilliant content through our marketing campaigns alongside the wider Marketing Team. You’ll live and breathe our vision and values making sure the Frugi customer is always at the heart of everything you do. Within this role you'll rotate around a variety of marketing teams helping you to gain a deeper understanding of multiple marketing channels. Not only will you become an invaluable resource to the whole marketing team, you'll also be proactive in developing your skills and knowledge of the brand.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Marketing Coordinators to help us grow our social media community by planning, briefing and scheduling content as per our brand communications plan. (Including covering social out-of-hours as and when required)
  • Have an up-to-date understanding of how each Frugi social channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging, formats correctly and drives conversion
  • Help to execute fun and engaging social media promotions for Frugi
  • Keep on top of trends, best practice and developments to ensure Frugi are ahead of the curve as well as complying with data legislation including GDPR.
  • Help to track and monitor social media to drive KPIs (engagement, site traffic, shareability)
  • Complete customer journey checks and review what competitors are doing.
  • Compile and analyse data from a range of systems and sources (Google Analytics, internal software) to create bespoke reporting, analysis and interpretation of activities.
  • Support with the creation of relevant briefs for the Brand team as per the agreed timescales.
  • Contribute new and innovative ways to drive the business forward and improve the customer journey.
  • Provide internal support to the Brand and wider Marketing Team

Essential skills

  • You’ll have a background & passion for marketing with a focus on online and offline communities, keeping yourself up to date with the latest industry developments.
  • Excellent communicator in the spoken and written word, with accuracy and great attention to detail – nothing will get past you!
  • You’ll be adaptable and flexible, a creative and innovative thinker and ‘out of the box’ problem solver.
  • You’ll have a working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn and be quick to learn bespoke in-house systems and platforms
  • Your analytical skills will be honed, and you’ll be able to present data and findings in a clear and logical manner.
  • You’ll be able to build solid working relationships internally and with external suppliers and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • You’ll be super organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
