We are looking for a Junior Web Developer to help build e-commerce websites for our range of clients.

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who has strong web skills, including HTML5, CSS and content management systems, to become part of a small, growing team. The successful candidate will help to develop our digital portfolio, have a willingness to learn new technologies, be technically focused and have excellent problem solving skills.

Key activities / responsibilities:

  • Developing responsive HTML templates.
  • Integrating the templates within the Shopify Liquid framework.
  • Browser testing and reporting.
  • Preparing supporting assets to populate e-commerce stores and email campaigns.
  • Client product catalogue management via Excel.

Core skills required:

  • HTML 5 template generation
  • SASS – CSS
  • jQuery

Preferable knowledge in:

  • Shopify e-commerce platform
  • Excel
  • MySQL

This role is best suited for a developer or graduate looking for a solid commercial role, where they will quickly see their work online, generating sales. It is a very varied role, so the individual will gain experience across a wide variety of sectors.

Personal development:

The successful candidate will be given an annual budget to spend on their own selection of training books, conference fees or any other training courses, alongside a subscription to Team Treehouse or Code Academy.  They will also have access to all the latest Adobe Creative Cloud software.
