About You

With a background in Excel, with VBA or SQL, you’ll be experienced in maintaining, normalising and interpreting data. You’ll be brimming with ideas to continue to improve existing reporting, whilst helping to facilitate the creation of new dashboards and reporting; helping drive value added analysis. You’ll be computer literate, with an intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel, and super organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Your Role in a Nutshell

You will be our go to person for the maintenance and improvement of existing daily, weekly & monthly dashboards and reports so stakeholders, and the wider business, are exposed to the best possible view of the website & customer performance and other key metrics across our consumer and trade channels.

You’ll undertake the collection of data, from multiple sources, for analysis, applying factor analysis techniques to take massive data sets and reduce them to smaller, more manageable ones using Excel and its ‘Power’ tools, VBA and/or SQL.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • You will work with all departments to ensure existing reporting meets current business needs, helping develop and maintain reports, dashboards and other visualizations to ensure they have what they need to gain deeper visibility into their objectives/needs.
  • You’ll support the Data Analyst in getting practical actionable insights that can help support Marketing, UX, CRM, Merchandising, Finance, Sales & most cross functional departments, applying the principles of web analytics and customer analysis.
  • You will maintain existing daily, weekly & monthly dashboards so stakeholders, and the wider business, are exposed to the best possible view of the website & customer performance and other key metrics across our consumer and trade channels.
  • You’ll bring data to life, taking vast amounts of data in raw formats and translating it into digestible information for stakeholders to use for practical actionable strategies.
  • Provide support with the writing and editing of technical documents as required.
  • You’ll always ensure the accuracy of data and reports providing the highest quality of standards.

Essential skills

  • Experienced using Excel and DAX, desirably with a working knowledge of VBA.
  • SQL knowledge desirable.
  • You’ll be a great problem solver, able to spot issues and think about how you could resolve them in an agile, innovative and future proof way.
  • Excellent communicator in the spoken and written word, with accuracy and great attention to detail.
  • Proven experience working with large datasets, creating reports and dashboards.
  • A thirst to innovate and help bring about change in a fast paced, growing brand.
  • Super organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Solid IT skills, with good working knowledge of MS Office programs and the ability to learn in-house systems quickly.
