We are looking for an Ops Procurement Co-ordinator with the self-motivated attitude to manage supplier accounts and help deliver seamless projects.

Job Description


The Role…

Working as part of a close knit team, you will be responsible for:

  • Procurement of the materials required to turn production drawings into finished products. 
  • Working towards the role of Procurement Manager and being responsible for building relationships with key suppliers, finding new suppliers and improving all procurement processes.
  • Working closely with London office to efficiently arrange manufacture in time for installs on site.
  • Building relationships with supplier network to ensure best delivery of products.
  • Providing daily reports / updates, including progress against project programmes and advise potential upcoming risks.
  • Managing own schedule efficiently and keeping the relevant teams on track to meet deadlines.
  • Communicating regularly with the London office and Sales Team to ensure that project challenges raised are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Reading technical drawings and reports generated by Solidworks to create accurate purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Taking on board issues and snags from Site Team and implement improvements to the process immediately, and suggest improvements for the product and manufacture in the future.
  • Attending to workshop tasks as required, such as helping to assemble small components or pack items for deliveries to London.
  • General admin and errands as required.
  • Occasional trips to London office and various suppliers.
  • Full time. Permanent.

  • Excellent communication and organisation is essential.
  • Punctual and able to hit deadlines.
  • A great eye for detail.
  • Great communication skills, written and spoken. 
  • Motivated and adaptable, willing to assist with all company challenges.
  • Able to think laterally and deal with last minute changes under pressure.
  • Read drawings / floor plans accurately.
  • Conscientious employee, taking pride in work and achievements.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Understanding of architectural metalwork.
  • Experience in delivering smooth projects.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel.
  • Any experience using CAD programmes. 

What you will need:

  • Clean UK driving licence due to the requirements of the role
  • Desire to work with a design lead product that is handmade in the UK.
  • Have excellent communication skills, written and spoken
