You will support clients and provide 1:1 support to engage with disadvantaged participants with multiple barriers, assessing their needs and developing individually tailored support packages.

Job Description

The Healthworks Adviser will enable clients to become more socially included and enter training, education and/or employment. The Healthworks Adviser will also deliver bite size recovery tools workshops to small groups.

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage a personal caseload of participants, being the single point of contact as well as mentor and coach, to remove barriers to education, training or employment.
  • Deliver mental health and wellbeing recovery courses to help clients move beyond mental health challenges
  • Establish effective SMART action plans
  • Ensure the Customer Management System is kept up to date, recording accurate data
  • Develop and maintain good relations with local external stakeholders and other contacts.
  • Work to achieve targets and Key Performance indicators
  • Actively and positively promote Pentreath, its vision and values at all times
  • Use initiative to plan, prioritise and organise effectively.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Have access to and use of a vehicle, or ability to travel around Cornwall
