Our Directors need a reliable, well-organised office assistant to support day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and proactiveness.

Job Description

• Manage organisational/filing/structural procedures and systems for the company including overall data management – both online and paper, and work with all departments to record the relevant processes and ensure they are being maintained.
• Diary and travel management for company Directors and/or management team including Co-ordination of schedules, booking accommodation, dining and meeting facilities when required.
• Email management for Directors.
• Project assistant - for all capital asset projects within the company – projects include new builds, or significant asset purchases.
• Assist Senior Management and Directors with ad-hoc projects as required.
• IT Liaison - for the IT function within the company – work closely with external IT providers to manage our IT suite and report progress to senior management and directors.
• Attend regular senior management meetings and board meetings, minute-take, distribute to responsible parties, proactively monitor, and report on the progress of action points.
• Liaison for company office and credit card expenditure – work closely with all department heads to develop and manage an ongoing purchasing/restocking system and report to the Finance Director.
• Be competent in the use of a range of software, including email, word, powerpoint, spread-sheets and databases – both Microsoft and Apple Tech.
• Private support for owners through household management and private finance management.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures driving effective performance, communication, and a good business reputation.
• Support Directors and Senior Management at all times with daily proactive reporting on work-load, current tasks and notification of upcoming events/tasks to be aware of.
• Supporting Human Resources with general administration.

What you offer
• Business admin qualification or equivalent.
• Ideally, proven experience in a similar role, but will accept equivalent experience on a relevant course.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Apple Tech.
• Highly organised being able to work in a structured way.
• Highly driven, forward thinking and capable of introducing, and implementing new systems.

A hospitality business with two venues - The Lewinnick Lodge, Newquay and The Plume of Feathers, Mitchell.

Head office is based in Mitchell.
