LINEDUP are looking for a talented, full-time front-end developer to join their fast-paced, young, growing e-commerce digital agency in St Agnes, Cornwall. They are focused on design, development, and support in the e-commerce industry.

Job Description

You will be an enthusiastic and experienced web-developer looking to progress your career, working on cutting-edge e-commerce stores for high-end, lifestyle brands.  The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work and performs well in a team - with a love for collaborating with others, but also the ability to tackle a challenge on their own.  

You will have an interest in the current e-commerce landscape and an innovative and creative mentality, with the ability to deliver exceptional e-commerce experiences and the confidence to make justified recommendations for creative work. Most importantly, you are passionate about coding with a strong work ethic and an extraordinary attention to detail and precision.

Your experience:

  • Working knowledge of modern cross-browser HTML5, SASS and Javascript
  • Working knowledge of Bootstrap SASS framework
  • Working knowledge of build services such as Slate/Gulp
  • Working knowledge of customer facing CMS solutions
  • Fluency in interpreting and working with third-party APIs
  • Fluency with version control and GIT flows
  • Translating design visuals into pixel perfect HTML5 templates
  • In-depth cross-browser testing
  • Application of good SEO principles
  • Awareness and experience of building accessible DDA compliant websites
  • Knowledge of e-commerce UX design principles
  • Understanding artwork filetypes and software packages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What you'll be doing:

  • Working closely with the design and development teams to create high-end Shopify stores from concept through to launch
  • Clearly communicating your decisions and though-processes to the rest of the team
  • Quality checking all your work and maintaining high standards of excellence
  • Maintaining good code documentation and providing customer-facing guides

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with Sketch, Photoshop or InVision
  • Experience with Shopify, WooComerce or Magento
  • Experience of React.js or Vue.js
  • Experience of CRM packages
  • Knowledge of HTML email templates
  • Knowledge of relational databases & SQL
  • Domain management (DNS) know-how
