Job Description

As our Education Advisor, you will help us align our EYFS, KS1 and KS2 product ranges with the needs of pupils and schools.

You will work proactively with our Design and Sales Teams to provide input and focus to the design process and training to the sales consultants. The aim of the role is to help us produce better opportunities in which children will enjoy learning through play.

Establishing links to the curriculum are important in this respect and it is essential that our projects deliver real enhancements to the quality and enjoyment of children’s education as well as their physical fitness (informally through play and formally through sports) and mental wellbeing. You will also have a particular interest in the role of the school as part of a wider community.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice and insights on Product Development and their benefits.
  • Providing current advice on curricular and cross-curricular applications.
  • Creating sample lesson plans.
  • Blogging to build and sustain our stakeholder community.
  • Monitoring and reporting on changes to Government legislation, directives and their implications in our context.
  • Contributing to staff training and development.

About You:

You’ll have relevant qualifications and experience in a senior role in Primary education, preferably at Head teacher or Deputy Level in a setting ranked as Good or Outstanding by Ofsted.

You’ll have had experience of implementing the current National Curriculum at KS1/2 level and knowledge of EYFS Framework and SEN.

You’ll have highly effective and well developed communication skills in context – particularly in written form with an ‘accessible’ style of writing copy for publication.

You’ll be able to demonstrate strong and effective research and report writing skills.

You’ll demonstrate a continued interest in professional development within the education sector, with a keen desire to keep up to date with current legislation, advice, initiatives and trends within the sector and its impact within our organisation.
