Job Description

About the role:

The ideal candidate is a skilled creative professional that thrives in a team environment. You will create the look, layout and features of our clients’ e-commerce websites. You will work collaborately to conceptualise intuitive, engaging, and brand-consistent web experiences. You will have a clear understanding of the full UX lifecycle, as well as 'web design', and will be looking to continually improve and optimise all existing design systems/components. You will need to be a self motivated individual who is hugely enthusiastic about their work.

Your experience:

  • A portfolio of professional e-commerce websites or some examples of own work
  • Working knowledge of responsive design across desktop, mobile and tablet
  • Working knowledge of UX wireframing and prototyping user journeys
  • Working knowledge of branding, graphic design, illustration and digital assets
  • Solid foundation of grid systems
  • Solid foundation of typography
  • Fluency in Sketch, Figma or Photoshop
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Superb communication, organisation and time management skills
  • A problem solving, self-starter looking for opportunities
  • Estimate and deliver work on time and within budget
  • Ability to balance multiple projects in a week, ensuring quality and timeliness across tasks
  • Ability to work with minimal oversight and to take ownership of projects

What you'll be doing:

  • Creating 'best in class' digital design solutions for our clients and LinedUp
  • Liasing directly with project stakeholders to understand and shape the creative response
  • Iterating through design phases for new and existing commercial e-commerce websites
  • Working closely with the development teams to create high-end Shopify stores from concept through to launch
  • Clearly communicating your decisions and though-processes to the rest of the team
  • Quality checking all your work and maintaining high standards of excellence

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience of branding and/or creative branding workshops
  • Experience with Shopify, WooComerce or Magento
  • Fluency with version control and GIT flows
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge of HTML email design
