If you’re passionate about creativity and want to play a key role in the exciting journey of new creative businesses then Cultivator might be the right place for you.

Job Description

As the successful applicant in this second phase of Cultivator, your key role will be to guide 30 graduates from creative degree-level courses on their journey to business success. You’ll provide a programme of coaching support, offering advice and encouragement to access the opportunities available to our clients. You will be an integral part of the Cultivator team, working across the whole of Cornwall’s creative sector and geographically across the whole of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

As well as that core role, you will work alongside the seven Creative Business Advisors at the heart of the project and together you will develop and deliver a programme of business advice sessions for third-year students across a number of courses at Falmouth University.

At Cultivator, our team of Creative Business Advisors offer bespoke and highly-specialist business advice, guidance and coaching to help creative businesses thrive. The Cultivator programme provides a wide range of opportunities for graduates and non-graduates to gain experience and skills relevant to their industry. It also provides targeted investment for creative businesses through its grant schemes.

Funded by the European Social Fund, the European Regional Development Fund, Arts Council England and Cornwall Council, phase 2 of this very successful partnership project starts on 1st October 2019 and continues until 30th September 2022.

The lead partner and the employer for this post is Creative Kernow, one of Cornwall’s leading creative sector organisations. Cultivator also has four delivery partners - Cornwall College, the Real Ideas Organisation (RIO), Cornwall Development Company and the University of Plymouth.
