The Role (and how you’ll develop)

As a Backend Developer, you will be working in an agile and dynamic team to support the continued development of the Tappter product, including integrations with other customer focussed systems such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and marketing systems.

You’ll work closely with the CTO and Product Management to refine and maintain high quality code and practices, with a focus on delivering a high quality customer experience for our end users.

The Tappter business is in an exciting phase of its journey, with growth and global expansion the follow on stages of work. This creates the opportunity to grow personally, potentially taking on line management / leadership roles as things progress.

About You

The role suits someone passionate, who is keen to grow as a person and who would relish the opportunity of being part of something meaningful.

Specific skills / competencies include:

• Advanced backend development skills (Java / Spring Boot)
• RESTful APIs
• Microservices
• Kubernetes (desirable)
• Experience in or an understanding of TDD
• Good working knowledge of bash and SQL
• Relational and NoSQL databases
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Happy to take the lead as well as working with others
