Company Description

From a spark of an idea in 2011, we now have more than 100 people at Headforwards! We have various teams here, all working for different clients with different technology stacks. One of our .NET clients wants us to provide 2 more teams, which means we need 13 new C# .NET developers and 2 new testers.

We are somewhere you can continue to develop and learn from outstanding colleagues while living in a holiday destination away from big city craziness.

What's our stack?

It isn't all haystacks and pasties down here you know. We use agile and lean start up concepts with cutting edge testing approaches to deliver awesome software, automatically, using the power of VSTS.

We create multi-tiered .NET MVC applications with responsive user interfaces and WCF service layers. Our UI's tend to be a mixture of vanilla JavaScript with JQuery and knockout.js but we are interested in how more comprehensive frameworks like Ember and Angular can help us. We are starting to use WebApi as an alternative to WCF to expose our business logic but there is still a reasonable amount of SOAP in our stack.

On the testing side we think it is important for developers to get their hands dirty in the test code but we still have testers to support them.

Other Application Details

The closing date for this role is 31st January 2018. We recruit on a rolling basis and fill our vacancies as soon as we find people who fit our culture and meet the skills requirements. This means that whilst we have a closing date on all of our roles, we may offer the role to someone before the end date, so we recommend that you apply as soon as possible.
